Q: How do I know if I am eligible to take the Student Accident & Sickness Insurance?
A: Check with your sponsor or with BETiNS.COM. If you are ineligible for this plan, see the contact page for other options.

Q: Does this plan cover routine or sports physicals that are required by my school?
A: No. this plan does not cover routine or sports physicals. Read the Certificate (pdf).

Q: Does this plan cover injuries sustained while participating in interscholastic sports?
A: There is a limited “optional” high school sports rider available. Review Program Summary.

Q: Does this plan cover me in my home country
A: No. This plan does not provide "Home Country" coverage. Home Country is defined as the country which has issued your passport. Review Program Summary.

Q: Is there a deductible on this policy?
A: Yes it is $100 per occurrence deductible and an additional deductible for non-admitted Emergency room treatment for an illness. The per-occurrence deductible; This does not mean that every time you see a physician the deductible will apply. For example, if you sprain your wrist and see the Physician three times for treatment of that same wrist injury, it is considered as a single occurrence. If you see the physician for a sprained wrist, then later see the physician for the flu, then that would be considered two separate occurrences. Review Program Summary.

Q: How do I get an I.D. card?
A: After you have been enrolled in the program, you may print one from the "I.D. Card" section of this website. A complete fulfillment kit will be mailed to you, your sponsor or your school depending on who enrolled you. Get ID.

Q: What does this insurance cover?
A: This insurance covers medical expenses which arise from an Injury or Illness which occurs while you are covered under the Policy as allowed for by your Certificate of Insurance. Read the Certificate (pdf).

Q: Does this policy pay all medical bills in full?
A: No, there are exclusions and limitations in the policy, so you will need to refer to the Certificate of Insurance. Read the Certificate (pdf).

Q: Can I go to any doctor?
A: Yes you can. However, International Medical Group® does work with The First Health Network®, a Preferred Provider Organization network of physicians and hospitals. Going to a First Health Network® Physician or Hospital would in most cases result in lower charges which would directly lower any co-payments that you would have to pay. Q: Where do I get a claim form?
A: Print one from this website. Download a claim form.

Q: How do I file a claim?
A: Attach your bills to a completed Claim Form and mail to International Medical Group® Inc., ATT: Claims, P.O. Box 88500, Indianapolis IN. 46208-0500. If the claim was the result of an accident, it is advised that you fill in the General Accident Questionnaire and submit that with the claim form. Keep copies of everything you submit. Claims must be filed within 30 days of Injury or illness and medical bills must be received within 90 days of service. Download a claim form.

Q: What is the policy's maximum benefit?
A: That depends on the plan you have been enrolled in. It will be $50,000, $250,000 or $500,000. See your contract for the details. Review Program Summary.

Q: Can I cancel my plan and get a refund?
A: You can cancel the plan and obtain a full refund if you cancel it prior to the effective date.
